The closest city to Kasbah Bab Ourika is Marrakech (about 45min by car).
We will be staying in Marrakech from 16-20 September, before moving to our venue in the Atlas Mountains.
Please arrive whenever suits your party, in the week ahead of September 21.
Leading up to the wedding there will be a relaxed schedule of events our guests are invited to partake in. Participation is at your expense.
We encourage you to explore Marrakech, and experience the delights of this incredible city.
Monday 16 September
From 5:30pm – Rooftop drinks, Rosemary
If you’re already in Marrakech, join us for first night drinks, on the rooftop of our Riad, Rosemary.
Tuesday 17 September
12pm – Souks
Let’s explore the sights and scents of the souks in the Medina, from midday.
4pm – Medersa Ben Youssef
After a few hours shopping for Moroccan rugs and leather goods, we’ll head to the Medersa Ben Youssef, an historic Islamic college, and a stunning example of Saadian architecture.
Thursday 19 September – morning
10am – Jardin Majorelle & Musée YSL
Spend the morning wandering through Jardin Majorelle, the gardens of the former residence of Yves Saint-Laurent and Pierre Bergé. Afterwards, we’ll wander down the street to Musée Yves Saint Laurent, to further immerse ourselves in the life and career of one of the foremost fashion designers of the twentieth century.
Thursday 19 September – evening
8pm – Moroccan dinner party, Sahbi Sahbi
Experience a truly special meal with those of our friends and family who have arrived in Marrakech before the weekend. Enjoy elevated local flavours at one of our favourite restaurants, the all female run Sahbi Sahbi.
Friday 20 September
We will be travelling to our venue, and getting ready for the following day’s celebrations.
For those staying at the Kasbah, we’ll enjoy a Moroccan barbecue dinner together, in the gardens.
Saturday 21 September
Ceremony and reception.
For those travelling to the Kasbah, please arrive at 5pm for a 5:30pm start.
Sunday 22 September
12pm – Poolside brunch
For those staying at the Kasbah, or close by, we’re hosting a recovery brunch beside the pool.
